Abstract
The design strategy is based on the form of geometry, accompanied by the interaction between the unit entities in the complex system, emerging as the shape. Through the nonlinear geometric system of design to reflect on the inherent hierarchical thinking in architecture, in order to blur the boundary between spaces and structures. There are riversides located at Tamsui, Taiwan, with brilliant nature surroundings. The design process attempts to use three different and analogous logic type of algorithms. Basic nature algorithms: “Wave of Water”, “Growth of Seaweed” and “Branching of Coastal plant”. And, these transfer to the Wedding plaza, Bell Tower and Chapel locations, respectively.
Architecture approach
In the steps of design, the particle units start with points by complex systems and generative algorithms, making a large number of discrete individuals grow and contributing to one or more faces of continuous geometry.It divides into three different categories: “Morphing of points, Curve”; “Morphing of curves,Surface”; and “Morphing of surfaces, Space”.
